MY SWEDISH EASTER

Hey guys!
I hope you're enjoying this long weekend! I can't complain about mine...is going great! 

I decided to visit one of my best friends who lives in Stockholm, and we are having a blast here!
I've already been to Stockholm with my family, but I enjoy visiting cities couple of times.. Every time with different people.. 

Friends and family both great but such different plans that you feel like in a completely different city! 

Also, what a better way to enjoy a city than with a local? ;)

Today we are heading to my friend´s house in the country side and I can´t wait!
Besides, next week I´ll be fully busy...so I need some relax & quality time.On Tuesday I'm going to Amsterdam, 

where  I´ll be traveling around The Netherlands to attend some business meetings .. It will be exciting but also exhausting! 

I will try to take some pictures in my free time and show them to you once I´m back!

Hola!! Que tal va el fin de semana largo? Espero que genial! Yo no me puedo quejar el mio.. 

Estoy en Estocolmo (que vine a visitar a una de mis mejores amigas) y estamos teniendo un tiempo precioso! 

Ya conocía la ciudad, vine de vacaciones con mi familia hace dos años. Pero me encanta visitar varias veces las ciudades 

que me gustan, siempre con gente diferente claro! Familia y amigos, los dos planes estupendos 

pero tan distintos que te sientes en una ciudad completamente nueva! 

Además, que mejor plan que visitar Estocolmo con un local? ;)

Hoy vamos a la casa de campo de mi amiga y me muero de ganas! Además, la semana que viene voy a estar 
muy liada... así que necesito tiempo de descanso y calidad. El martes me voy a Amsterdam donde haré un tour 
por los Países Bajos para asistir a unas reuniones de trabajo. Espero tener algo de tiempo libre para 
sacar fotos y os las enseño a mi vuelta! Hasta entonces.. Felices pascuas!!

LEMON COAT

These pictures were taken a few days ago when I was still in Gran Canaria.

 I would love to wear light coats like this one in London... but I would be at risk of freezing to death lol

Here I'm stading outside my family's restaurant, Amaiur. I really miss it everytime I'm away from home!! 

The coat and trousers are from Zara, booties from Prymark and handbag from Diane von Furstenberg.

Estas fotos son de hace varios días cuando aún estaba en Gran Canaria.

Me encantaría llevar abrigos tan ligeros en Londres... pero me arriesgaría a morir congelada jajaja

Las fotos están sacadas fuera del Amaiur, restaurante de mi familia que echo muchísimo de menos cuando estoy fuera!! 

El abrigo y los pantalones son de Zara, los botines de Prymark y el bolso de Diane von Furstenberg.

BEST OF 2013

I couldn't have asked for a better year.... 2013 has been full of experiences that I will always remember 

with a big smile on my face. In 2013 I graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology, becoming one of my 

happiest days and the day I closed one of my biggest dreams and a crucial chapter in my life.

No podría haber esperado nada más del 2013...ha sido un año mágico lleno de experiencias que siempre recordaré 

con una gran sonrisa. En el 2013 me gradué en el Fashion Institute of Technology. Uno de los días más felices 

de mi vida al sentir que hice realidad uno de mis grandes sueños.

The professional experiences were many and excellent! I worked with Custo Barcelona and with Alberta Ferretti 

and I was able to attend their shows during Fashion Week (I still get goose-bumps when I think about it ). 

I also found myself face to face with my favorite characters from the fashion world! :D

Las experiencias profesionales fueron muchas y muy buenas! Trabajé con Custo Barcelona o Alberta Ferretti 

y pude asistir a sus desfiles en la semanan de la moda (aún se me ponen los pelos de punta al recordarlo). 

Además me encontré de cara a cara con mis personajes favoritos del mundo de la moda :D

In 2013 I traveled to the Bahamas, the Hamptons, southern France, Spain and London. 

Always surrounded by those special people that make all little moments impossible to forget!

En el 2013 viajé a las Bahamas, los Hamptons, el sur de Francia, España y Londres. 

Siempre rodeada de esas personitas tan especiales que hacen de todos los viajes momentos imposibles de olvidar!

I am blessed and fortunate to say that  2013 has been mostly filled with smiles and much love.

New York has been my home, and in this great city I spent so far the best year of my life.

Me siento muy afortunada de poder decir que este 2013 ha estado sobre todo lleno de sonrisas y mucho mucho amor. 

Nueva York ha sido mi hogar y en esa gran ciudad he pasado uno de los mejores años de mi vida.

This has been a year of new experiences but also goodbyes.I finished college, I stopped living in my beloved 

West Village apartment and I said goodbye to New York. But I said "hello" to London, 

a city that has welcomed me with open arms and it already feels like home.

In 2014 I begin a new chapter, in a new city and with a exciting professional opportunity.

To the new year I can only ask to be as good as the previous one...

Este ha sido un año de nuevas experiencias pero también de despedidas. Terminé la universidad, dejé de vivir en mi querido 

apartamento del West Village y me despedí de Nueva York. Sin embargo dije "hola" a Londres, 

ciudad que me ha recibido con los brazos abiertos y ya la siento como mi casa. 

En el 2014 comenzaré una nueva etapa de mi vida, en una nueva ciudad y donde me espera una excitante 

experiencia profesional. Al nuevo año sólo le puedo pedir que sea igual de bueno que el anterior (pedir más sería egoísta...) 

2014 ESTOY DESEANDO CONOCERTE!!

LONDON BOUND

The Golden Paillettes moves to London!

From one island to another, from one fashion capital to another... from New York to London! 

I arrived two days ago to the city that has become my new hometown. Now in the background of my photos instead of yellow cabs 

you will see red buses, but everything else will stay the same! I love this cosmopolitan city and its classic atmosphere 

(the accent is another plus) ;P I'll tell you soon about my new life and other projects!

The Golden Paillettes se muda a Londres....

De una isla a otra isla, de una capital de la moda a otra...de Nueva York a Londres! 

Llegué hace dos días a la ciudad que se ha convertido en mi nueva residencia. 

Ahora en el fondo de mis fotos en vez de taxis amarillos vereis autobuses rojos, pero todo lo demás será parecido. 

Me encanta esta cosmopólita ciudad y su aire clásico (su acento es otro punto a favor) ;P

Pronto os contaré sobre mi nueva vida, proyectos y demás!

Y sigo enseñando fotos de mis vacaciones en Francia y en el País Vasco hace ya dos semanas...

Parece que no se acaban nunca! jajaja Éstas las sacamos por el paseo marítimo de Hondarribia, donde sus barcas pesqueras 

en diferentes colores me enamoraron :) Muy pintoresco, no creéis?  Mi look para el día se basa en una de mis 

camisetas favoritas de Comme des Garçons, falda de cuero de Zara y sandalias. 

Como siempre cómoda para no parar en todo el día!

SAINT EMILION

Saint-Émilion is a little village located in southwestern France. Famous for its vineyards, and its picturesque town 

with fascinating Romanesque churches and ruins stretching all along steep and narrow streets.

We didn't want to lose the chance of visiting one of its vineyards, where we enjoyed a tour and an step by step explanation 

of wine making. Besides the house was beautiful, and we close our visit with a wine tasting class, just perfect!

Saint-Émilion es un pequeño pueblo situado en el suroeste de Francia. Es famoso por sus viñedos y su pintoresco pueblo, 

lleno de iglesias románicas y ruinas que se extienden a lo largo de sus estrechas calles.

Nosotros no quisimos perder la oportunidad de visitar uno de sus viñedos, donde nos explicaron paso a paso 

la elaboración del vino. Además la casa era preciosa, y concluimos la visita con cata de vinos, simplemente perfecto!

I talked to you about this lovely top long time ago.

My sister made it and gave it to me on my 22 birthday... so you can imagine how much I love it! 

It is for sure one of my favorite pieces in my closet not only for its sentimental value 

but also because its originality. It's one of those fun clothes that when I wear it, it is impossible to have a bad day :)

We took the photos when visiting Toulouse. Hardly visible in the background you can see the beautiful 

cathedral of Saint-Etienne. I loved the city, beautiful, full of medieval buildings and a great atmosphere!

Hace ya tiempo hablé sobre el top que llevo en el post de hoy. 

Es un diseño de mi hermana que me regaló cuando cumplí 22... así que ya podeis imaginar lo mucho que me gusta! 

Es una de las prendas favoritas en mi armario, y no sólo por su valor sentimental sino además por lo original que es. 

Una de esas prendas divertidas que siempre llaman la atención, y si me la pongo no puedo tener un mal día :)

Las fotos están sacadas en la ciudad de Toulouse. En las fotos casi no se aprecia, 

pero al fondo está la bonita catedral de Saint-Étienne. Una ciudad preciosa, llena de bonitos edificios medievales 

y un ambiente muy bueno!
