Yepp! That's my blog! And maybe you are wondering...why that name?
The answer is simple... although my blog is mainly about fashion, I didn't want to introduce the "fashion" word on the name.
Instead I was looking for something more personal and catchy! Must be something that describe myself...
And my mom came with the idea! "You are obsessed with sequins and shimmering things...
so why don't The Golden Paillettes?" Paillettes means sequins in french,
and I loved the idea of mixing both languages on it... sooo GOT IT!!!

Pues si! Así se llama el blog, y puede que os preguntéis..por qué ese nombre?
Pues la respuesta es muy simple... aunque mi blog trata básicamente temas sobre moda, no quería que la palabra "fashion" apareciera en el nombre. Prefería algo más personal y que llamara la atención! Debía ser algo que me describiera...
Fue mi madre la que se le ocurrió la idea! "Estas obsesionada con todo lo que tenga lentejuelas
o sea brillante... así que por qué no llamarlo The Golden Paillettes?" Pailletes significa lentejuelas
en francés, y el hecho de mezclar los dos idiomas me encantó... así que CONSEGUIDO!!
Beautiful photos! I used never be a fan of golden anything. But! Now the situation's changing. Thanks to your post :) And also the new collection of Diesel Black Gold made me change my mind.

ResponderEliminarMy blog's name - "Żelikowska" is from my alias. My friends call me "Żelka" {it's mean "jelly bear" in polish - like Haribo or something}. "Żelikowska" is variation of "Żelka", like surname. Yes, I know - I'm not creative ;)
