TIE FACTORY

Photos: Maria Bastida

Last Wednesday I spent the day in Brooks Brothers headquarters, located on Madison Avenue.
For those who don't know the brand, Brooks Brothers is the oldest men's clothier chain in the United States.
It was founded in 1818 as a family business and it is universally recognized for classic clothing and conservative style.

I spent most of the time in the production department and by the end of the day we visited their tie factory,
located in Long Island. Their fabrics, materials and machinery are high quality
and it was very interesting to see how to create a tie from scratch.
Definitely a very enriching experience.
